VPT and Bilquis Edhi Hospital Unite for Maternal and Child Health
In a significant move for regional maternal and child health, Vital Pakistan Trust (VPT) and
Bilquis Edhi Hospital have signed an MOU to launch Family Planning (FP) and Post
Pregnancy Family Planning (PPFP) services, focusing on addressing the unmet need for
birth spacing. The ceremony, at Bilquis Edhi Hospital, included key individuals like Mr. Akbar
Rajani, CEO of VPT, Dr. Shershah Syed, a renowned obstetrician, Mr. Faisal Edhi, son of
Abdul Sattar Edhi, Dr. Nausheen Naz, Technical Lead for FP, and other dedicated delegates.
This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive family planning services and healthcare
support, particularly focusing on the well-being of mothers and children. Together, they are
making a difference!
