Vital Pakistan Trust (VPT) and the Population Welfare Department, Government of Sindh sign MOU

Vital Pakistan Trust (VPT) and the Population Welfare Department, Government of
Sindh, recently formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU). According to the agreement, VPT will extend its Family
Planning Counsellors’ services to all provincial tertiary care hospitals in Sindh, a
secondary care hospital in Shikarpur, and two primary-level facilities in Karachi.
The MOU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Rehan Iqbal Baloch,
Secretary of the Population Welfare Department, Government of Sindh, and Ms.
Nasreen Ghouri, Director of Public Private Partnership at the Population Welfare
Department. Representing VPT were Mr. Akbar Rajani, CEO, and Dr. Nausheen Naz,
Technical Lead Family Planning.
Through this strategic partnership, we aim to broaden our reach across Sindh,
ensuring the delivery of high-quality family planning and post-pregnancy family
planning services to the most underserved populations in the region. This
collaboration marks a significant step towards our shared commitment to enhancing
healthcare accessibility and making a positive impact on the well-being of
communities.
